Corporate Associate (Private Equity)

 

Location: Dallas, Texas

Employer: Vault/AmLaw Top 25 Private Equity practice

Experience Requirement: 2-4 years experience working with private equity funds, independent sponsors, and portfolio companies in connection with M&A transactions, capital raises, and debt and securities offerings. Candidates should also have experience drafting operating and partnership agreements, and attending to the day-to-day needs of portfolio companies. Must have experience negotiating important transaction documents.

Key Characteristics:

  • Ability to draft M&A transaction documents
  • Must be willing to participate in community and professional organizations as part of professional development.

Academics:Strong performance in law school

Bar Admission Requirement: Must be admitted to practice, or eligible to waive in to, the jurisdiction in which you will be located

Compensation: Top of market based on office location/experience
